HARKINS SLOUGH TRESTLE

Harkins Slough Trestle, located between Watsonville and Santa Cruz, will be a standout addition to the Santa Cruz Coastal Trail and popular for Watsonville locals.

Certain to be one of the most visited, the La Selva Trestle was upgraded over a decade ago making it far easier to repurpose into a Trail Trestle.

Overlooking the iconic surf at Manresa Beach, the Manresa Trestle will be a stunning lookout to the Pacific Ocean along the Santa Cruz Coastal Trail.

HIDDEN BEACH TRESTLE

Hidden Beach Trestle is one of the trail’s standout historic crossings, offering a scenic and convenient gateway to the Santa Cruz coastline.

APTOS NORTH TRESTLE

Aptos North Trestle links Seacliff to Aptos Village and is poised to become one of the Coastal Trail’s most iconic crossings—already a favorite overlook for the famous 4th of July parade.

BOARDWALK TRESTLE

Often mistaken for the trestle featured in The Lost Boys, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk Trestle will greatly enhance the Santa Cruz Coastal Trail when opened, and we’re optimistic it will be incorporated into the 2026 CTC improvements for Segments 8–11.

SEASCAPE TRESTLE

Our hope is that the Seascape Trestle will launch the trail’s first sponsorship and dedication program, with its inaugural dedication honoring Dr. Rob Quinn.

APTOS SOUTH TRESTLE

Aptos South Trestle is one of the corridor’s longest spans, framed by redwood forest and serving as a key connection between Aptos Village and Seascape across Highway 1.

CAPITOLA TRESTLE

Capitola Trestle is set to be the most photographed crossing on the Santa Cruz Coastal Trail, and we’re hopeful it will be included in the 2026 CTC-funded upgrades for Segments 8–11.

ANTONELLI TRESTLE

The Antonelli Pond Trestle sits at the end of the current Santa Cruz Coastal Trail between Wilder Ranch and Santa Cruz. Opening it for trail use would create a seamless connection between the North Coast Trail to Davenport —providing a major benefit to the community.
